  • Deploy sticky cards to monitor pest populations throughout vegetative, flowering, storage and processing cycles.
  • They work best when places in each of 3 zones - below the canopy at the base of each plant, in the middle of the canopy, and above the canopy.
  • Check the sticky cards every few days and record pest populations.
  • Study the surface of the card with a magnifying glass or microscope to identify insects in your environment.
  • Identify pest pressure on an individual plant-to-plant level for isolation, quarantine, and treatment.
